gravadores Stones Throw Records e retomou de vez a posição à frente dos microfones com o

lançamento do primeiro disco solo, “Shine Through”, em 2006.

Seu estilo pode ser descrito como blues-rock, dominado por guitarras e guitarras slide. A formação considerada clássica contava com o vocalista e guitarrista Dave Peverett, o baterista Roger Earl (ambos fizeram parte do Savoy Brown), o guitarrista Rod Price e o baixista Craig MacGregor.
