KANSAS "SAIL ON - THE 30th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION, 1974-2004" - Kansas é uma banda de rock norte-americana dos anos 1970 especializada no estilo progressivo. Dave Hope (baixo), Phil Ehart (bateria), Robby Steinhardt (violino), Steve Walsh (teclado e vocal) e Rich Williams (guitarra) formaram a banda White Clover em sua cidade natal de Topeka, Kansas. Depois da entrada de Kerry Livgren (teclado e guitarra) o nome da banda foi mudado para Kansas.

Formado inicialmente por Steve Walsh (Teclados e vocal), Robby Steinhardt (Violino), Kerry Livgren (Guitarras), Billy Greer (Baixo) e Phil Ehart (bateria) eles gravaram grandes álbuns nos anos 1970. O primeiro chama- se Kansas apenas e foi o trampolim para o êxito dos que viriam depois: "Song for América", "Masque", "Point of Know return"e "Letoverture", esses dois últimos ganharam vários prêmios. A banda se destacou ao emplacar clássicos do rock progressivo como "Carry on Wayward Son", hoje, sucesso na abertura do seriado norte-americano Supernatural, "Song for America" e "The Wall"... desta época também surgiu o maior sucesso do Kansas, a balada "Dust in the Wind". Como o sucesso traz junto a discórdia, os integrantes começaram a se desentender no que resultou na saída de Robby Steinhardt e Kerry Livgren. Este dvd mostra a banda em aparições na televisão, como no Rock Concert de Don Kirshner, em 1974 e 1975, bem como vídeos promocionais primeiros e performances ao vivo.

KANSAS "LIVE CONFESSIONS, 1982" - Devido a diferenças criativas sobre o sentido lírico das músicas, Steve Walsh - teclados, sintetizadores, percussão, vocais - deixou a banda em 1981 para formar uma nova banda. Ele foi substituido pelo vocalista / tecladista John Elefante que, desconhecido para Kerry Livgren (guitarras, teclados, sintetizadores, vocais) e Dave Esperança (baixo, vocais) foi escolhido entre mais de 200 candidatos, dentre eles Sammy Hagar. John Elefante passou pela banda entre 1982 e 1985 com três álbuns, dentre eles o álbum "Vinyl Confessions" que trazia a música "play the game tonight"  co-escrita por John que chegou ao top 20 da billboard e passou a ser o terceiro single mais bem sucedido da banda, superado apenas por "Carry on Wayward Son" e "Dust in the Wind".

CERRONE "CULTURE"

CERRONE "CULTURE" - Jean-Marc Cerrone - mais conhecido por Cerrone é músico e produtor francês. Aos 12 anos de idade aprendeu a tocar bateria e gostava de ouvir, conforme declarações suas, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix e Blood, Sweat & Tears. Lançou seu primeiro disco em 1976, "Love in C Minor", embalado pela onda Disco e tendo a faixa-título nada menos de 17 minutos de apelo erótico (gemidos de orgasmo) e um instrumental tremendamente dançante. Cerrone tornou-se assim o primeiro "superstar" francês da música Disco. Em 1977 lançou outro álbum de grande sucesso, "Supernature", mais uma vez a faixa-título com ritmo Disco e temática de ficção científica o leva o topo das paradas e vendagens. Suas músicas são sampleadas de tempos em tempos ou ganham novas roupagens. Os anos 80 e 90 foram meio apagados pra ele em termos de sucesso internacional, mas os dois primeiros discos se encarregaram de fazer com ele pudesse manter seu legado até os dias de
hoje e fazer entender porque eu acho que a house music surgida nos anos 90 deve muito a ele.

FREE "FOREVER"

FREE "FOREVER" - Free foi uma banda de rock britânica formada em 1968 por Paul Kossoff
(guitarra), Paul Rodgers (vocais), Simon Kirke (bateria) e Andy Fraser (baixo). Seu som tem raízes fincadas no mais puro blues/rock britânico típico do final da década de 1960. Apesar de dois bons discos de estreia, Tons of Sobs (1968) e Free, foi com o terceiro álbum, Fire & Water (1970), que conseguiram o sucesso, emplacando várias canções nas paradas britânicas. Nessa mesma época, fizeram uma apresentação marcante no Festival da Ilha de Wight. A superexposição levou o grupo
à dissolução em 1971. Após algumas tentativas de seguirem outros projetos, seus integrantes retornaram com a formação original e lançaram o álbum Free at Last, para, logo em seguida, separarem-se definitivamente em 1973. Existem várias compilações com shows e músicas do Free lançadas após sua dissolução.

Com o fim da banda o vocalista Paul Rodgers formou o Bad Company, tendo uma carreira de muito sucesso. O venerado guitarrista Paul Kossoff morreu de um ataque cardíaco devido ao abuso de drogas, em 1976. Rodger eventualmente formaria outras bandas ("The Firm" e "The Law"), juntando-se em 2004 aos remanescentes do Queen.

DEF LEPPARD "VIVA! HYSTERIA, LIVE 2013" - Filmado ao vivo em março de 2013 no Hard Rock Hotel, em Las Vegas ao longo de nove noites. O álbum "Hysteria" é tocado na integra de forma primordial, com os backing vocals marcantes, sem perder o impacto causado pelo estúdio. O cenário é o "The Joint", conhecida casa de shows em Las Vegas, cujo público até tenta, mas não consegue marcar presença de forma cativante e causar ruídos diante da incrível sonoridade trazida pela banda. Fosse no Brasil, e, certamente, teríamos um dos melhores registros ao vivo de todos os tempos, pois a plateia brasileira cantaria, do início ao fim, todas as canções, sem interrupção. Mas, desde a abertura com "Women" (muito melhor ao vivo do que em estúdio), passando por clássicos absolutos como "Animal", "Hysteria", "Rocket" e "Pour Some Sugar On Me", a primeira parte do registro ainda tem as inspiradas "Rock of Ages" e "Photograph" (muito legais nesta versão ao vivo). Mas é na segunda
parte que o setlist arrasa qualquer tentativa de algum crítico em querer minimizar o DVD/BLU-RAY, e, ao mesmo tempo, causa enfarto aos fãs mais calorosos da banda. A abertura traz uma mescla de "Won't Get Fooled Again" (THE WHO) e emenda com a épica e pesada "Good Morning Freedom" (lado B do single "Hello America" que, por uma destas situações onde não se sabe o motivo, ficou de fora do álbum de estreia). Seguem-se a monumental "Wasted" (que mostra porque o falecido STEVE CLARK foi o grande criador de riffs dos anos 80), passando pelas belíssimas "Mirror Mirror" (do melhor de seus álbuns, "High'n'Dry"), "Rock Brigade" (um dos hinos do rock em todos os tempos), as legais "Stagefright" e "Action" (revisitando aqui, a lendária banda SWEET), e, para quem achava que ia terminar, ainda temos a sessão final, com uma sequência de seis canções do já aclamado disco "High'n'Dry", sendo elas: "On Through The Night", "Let It Go", "Another Hit and Run", "(Saturday Night) High and Dry", a belíssima balada "Briging on the Heartbreak" e a absurdamente ótima "Switch 625", uma instrumental que fecha aquela que seria uma das maiores noites do Def Leppard em toda a sua história.

CAMEL "MOONDANCES LIVE, 1976-1977" - Dois concertos reunidos em um único disco.  "Camel Live in Concert no Hammersmith Odeon, abril 14, 1976 é o resgate de uma gravação há muito perdida, que foi finalmente recuperada em 2006. Na época com a formação original, Andrew Latimer, Doug Ferguson, o falecido Peter Bardens e Andy Ward, a apresentação foi feita durante a promoção do álbum de 1976 Camel 'Moonmadness'. De 1977 temos "Camel Live in Concert no Hipódromo, Setembro 22, 1977. A formação dessa fase era com Latimer, Bardens, Ward, Richard Sinclair e Mel Collins. Esta gravação especial, feita durante a tarde antes de sua apresentação à noite no Hammersmith Odon de Londres, foi filmada pela BBC sem nunca saber o quão importante ela um dia se tornaria.
