IAN GILLAN ''HIGHWAY STAR - A JOURNEY IN ROCK" - é um filme documentário de longa metragem sobre a vida e a música de Ian Gillan , lançado em abril de 2007. Depois de ter assistido neste dvd o próprio Gillan contar que foi chamado por Blackmore para fazer parte do Rainbow, veio a cabeça como seria ouvir "Stargazer" ou "Long Live Rock n Roll" na voz do eterno "purple". Os entrevistados, além do homem, são: Roger Glover,  Jon Lord,  Colin Towns, Ian Paice, Don Airey,

 Steve Morse, Claude Nobs, Tony Iommi,  Luciano Pavarotti, Tim Rice,  Bruce Payne,  Phil Banfield 

 Bron & Grace Gillan, Audrey Parkinson (a mãe de Ian Gillan), George Best, Ronnie James Dio, Joe Satriani e Joe Elliott.
